This marks an amazing milestone in Coach Worthy’s 23rd year here at Dakota. Under her leadership, this competitive cheer season was filled with numerous successes, including the MAC Red Championship, District Championship, and a state qualification. To top off this already stellar season, Coach Worthy was voted Regional Coach of the Year by her fellow coaches—a true testament to the respect and admiration she’s earned within the coaching community.A huge congratulations to Michela Worthy from Dakota Varsity Cheer on being named REGIONAL Coach of the Year and D1 State Coach of the Year! 🎉🏆What an incredible honor! 🏀🎉 Congratulations to our Varsity Girls' Basketball team for their amazing victory over Port Huron to become District 32 Champions! 💪🔥 The girls secured the win with a final score of 52-41! Congratulations to the Dakota Competitive Cheer team. Over break the won the District Title and advanced to regionals They placed in the top four at regions and have advanced to the MHSAA competitive cheer State Finals. Finals will be held at CMU this Friday. We wish the team much luck at states as one of 8 teams that will be competing!

DTU National Pom Champions!

Over the break, the dance team departed for Orlando, Florida to compete in the Dance Team Union National Championship. Both teams gave powerful performances in finals. JV is coming home as 4th place Pom and Jazz finishers. Varsity earned a 3rd National title in the Pom division and comes home as a 7th place Jazz finisher in the Small Varsity division out of 56 teams. We are so proud of your tenacity and perseverance this season ladies!
