Campers grades 3-8 will be split into groups, divided by age. The groups will work on skills such as throwing, catching, fielding, hitting and base running. This volleyball camp is designed to teach 1st grade - 6th grade boys the fundamental skills of volleyball. The camp will focus on developing proper individual techniques such as: forearm passing (footwork, arm position, runthru, shuffle, and extensions), serving (toss, contact, float, top-spin & jump serves), setting (footwork, hand position and running an offense), attacking (footwork, arm swing, 3 & 4 step approaches), court positioning (offense, defense, 5-1, 6-2). Dakota Varsity volleyball players will help instruct the camp under the supervision of Dakota Varsity coach, Alec Arena and coaching staff.

The Chippewa Valley Elementary Basketball league is now enrolling! The league is open to all KDG - 8th grade students in the district (KDG-6th grade for girls). Running for 9 weeks, it features individual leagues by grade level. 9 games scheduled to be played at the middle/high schools. A reversible jersey, small team sizes (usually between 8 and 10) made up of players from your own school as well as other districts. There are multiple discounts available for this program: Parents can receive a discount for enrolling more than one child ($10 off per additional child enrolled). CV employees are also eligible for 10% off, please make sure your work email is on your Eleyo account for the system to be able to recognize eligibility. Early Bird Registration: $10.00 off if enrolled by October 20th. Coach discount: $10.00 off for coaches who volunteer (Maximum two discounts per team), this discount will be applied after teams are made. Call Community Ed for any assistance.
